Project Challenges
An industry association speaks to several audiences at once: members, growers, buyers and press. One homepage has to give each of them a way in without burying the others.
Most of the work on a site like this is deciding what goes on the first screen.
- Several audiences – Members, producers and international buyers want different things from the same handful of pages.
- Content that ages – Announcements and membership details change, so the site has to be editable by the association rather than by us.
- Bilingual readers – Khmer and English readers arrive at the same URLs and both have to be served properly.
What we built
We structured the site around the association's own sections rather than around a template's, and kept every page editable from the admin so an update does not need a developer.
